Floresta Drive Improvements: Floresta Drive Phase 3
Construction for Floresta Drive Phase 3 is underway. The contractor is working on the necessary drainage for the stormwater retention pond at Harborview. The contractor is also installing water main on Arton Lane.
The contractor closed Coral Reef Street from north of Chaloupe Avenue to south of Evergreen Terrace for work on the D-11 Canal until the end of February 2026.
In addition, the contractor, Felix Civil, implemented a full closure on Floresta Drive from SE Fallon Drive to SE Greenway Terrace, through early September. Both northbound and southbound lanes will be closed to allow for the installation of drainage structures and pipes for the storm drainage system along Floresta Drive. During this time, the contractor will also work on constructing roadway, sidewalk, curb, median and green spaces.
Detours are in place to alert motorists before the closure on Crosstown Parkway and Prima Vista Boulevard. Additionally, several local streets will remain available to accommodate traffic that might miss the turn at Crosstown or Prima Vista. The roadway will be open to local traffic only for residents living between Fallon and Greenway.
