Community Development Block Grant( CDBG) Annual Action Plan( AAP)
Every year, the City receives a Community Development Block Grant allocation. This is a formula-based, entitlement grant provided by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development( HUD). The primary purpose of the CDBG program is to develop viable urban communities and provide services to principally low-income citizens and their neighborhoods. It is a flexible form of funding that the City can use on a variety of different activities.
As part of the development of the Annual Action Plan, we ask residents to fill out a survey and provide some insights on their community. This information helps us analyze program needs and allocations. If you are interested in providing feedback you can complete the survey online. Access the survey here.
