Code staff attends FACE Conference
The Florida Association of Code Enforcement( FACE) held its annual conference this year in Kissimmee from June 8-12. It was a wonderful opportunity for anyone working in the Code Enforcement profession to get together, network, take informative classes and learn about any new legislation which has passed, could pass and may affect code enforcement.
Deputy Director Wesley Armstrong, Special Projects Coordinator Sara Brown and Code Compliance Manager Rachel Knaggs represented the department and the Treasure Coast Association of Code Enforcement( TCACE). Rachel Knaggs received two awards during the conference because of her participation on FACE ' s Policy Review Committee and Board Reconstructing Committee.
The TCACE board held a raffle during the conference where a total of $ 1,205 was raised for the organization.
