Youth Council celebrates its graduates
The Youth Council recently celebrated a significant milestone with its graduation ceremony held June 18, marking the conclusion of the 2025-26 council term.
The event was graced by Vice Mayor Jolien Caraballo, who honored the outgoing members with certificates of recognition, acknowledging their dedication and contributions to the Youth Council.
Those who completed more than 40 volunteer hours were presented with a special Youth Council pin, a certificate of appreciation from the Human Resources department and a volunteer challenge coin. The ceremony concluded with members and their families gathering to enjoy cake.
Looking ahead, the next term will begin Sept. 12 with the highly anticipated annual Youth Council Leadership Summit. This upcoming term will welcome 56 members, the largest cohort in the council’ s history.
