Fitness is thrilled to announce the original weight rack from 2008 at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center fitness center has been replaced with an awesome new rack! This upgrade enhances our facility and provides an even better environment for members to pursue their fitness goals.
On April 23, the fitness team came together at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center to celebrate Volunteer Appreciation Week in a gathering dedicated to the Rock Steady Boxing volunteers.
In a surprise unveiling, they shared a heartfelt video the Communications team produced in secret, featuring the fighters expressing their gratitude. The emotional footage highlighted the strong bonds formed through their shared commitment to overcoming challenges together. Rock Steady Boxing coaches and fighters are immensely grateful for the dedicated volunteers, George, Rose, Pam, Jim, Barbara, Mimi and Carolyn. Their selfless contributions help to provide a safe and supportive environment for the fighters, empowering them to thrive physically and mentally.
The appreciation shown during the celebration reinforced the message that this program could not run without them.
