In preparation for the fun-filled summer ahead, Summer Camp Orientation took place May 17, with a turnout of about 94 attendees! The event featured a special visit from the Parks Administrator and the Deputy Director, who warmly welcomed our camp staff. They shared valuable insights on various topics, including human resources and risk management, ensuring that everyone is well-prepared for the campers. To keep the energy high, a spread of chips, cookies and subs were available for the camp counselors and attendees.
The Mommy Son Dance took place May 31 and June 1 at the Community Center, and moms and their boys had tons fun during the Mario Kart-themed dance, making memories to last a lifetime. They enjoyed sweet treats, face painting, balloon art, dancing and music.
