Family-friendly special events abound at the City
Families gathered April 4 at Whispering Pines Park for a hop-tastic morning at Spring Eggstravaganza! Kids hunted for more than 60,000 eggs scattered across four baseball fields and also got to meet the Easter Bunny himself, creating unforgettable moments for children and parents.
On April 18, the community came together for Autism Awareness & Community Resource Event at the Community Center. The Special Events team provided a dedicated sensory room, offering a calm and welcoming space, along with fidget toys provided to every guest upon arrival.
Looking ahead, residents are invited to join us for the second annual Juneteenth Celebration on June 19 at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center. This meaningful event will honor Black culture and history and offer the community an evening of entertainment and reflection.
