City Council tentatively approves Capital Improvement Plan
On April 20, the Office of Management and Budget presented to City Council the five-year Capital Improvement Program( CIP) for Fiscal Years 2027- 2031.
The CIP is designed to support long-term planning for essential projects, including facility upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, roadway improvements, park development and stormwater improvements. Reviewed and updated annually, the CIP ensures that all proposed projects align with the City’ s Strategic Plan.

The first year of the five-year plan, also known as the proposed capital budget, includes 71 capital projects with an estimated allocation of $ 226 million for FY2026-27. This investment represents the City’ s continued commitment to strengthening infrastructure, enhancing resiliency and improving quality of life for residents.
