The response was overwhelmingly positive.
Teachers and parents already have shared thoughtful feedback with event organizer Makenzie Spittler, including notes like:
“ Thank you very much for such an amazing event. My children learned a lot, including myself as a homeowner, such as where our water is sourced from. It also appears my version of 3 feet apart for the garbage cans is different from the city. Ha! We took notes about the various departments, which allowed my children to share with their teachers and classmates! The blankets also came in handy for the rain!”
“ Thank you for having us! We would love to do this yearly if it is something you offer.”
The inaugural field trip days didn’ t just showcase City operations; they sparked curiosity, strengthened community connections and created the kind of learning experience families want to see become a tradition. www. CityofPSL. com / News
