Improvements to the corridor will accommodate future traffic volumes. This project aims to enhance safety, improve pedestrian and bicycle movements, reduce congestion and facilitate more efficient traffic flow. Key enhancements in Floresta Drive Phase 3 include:
• New roundabouts
• Dedicated bicycle lanes
• Sidewalks
• Intersection improvements at Prima Vista Boulevard and Floresta Drive
• Stormwater treatment pond site
• Integration with the Crosstown Parkway intersection
• Installation of Baffle Boxes
• Improvements to the D-11 Canal
Motorists are advised to exercise caution and reduce speed while traveling through the work zone. The speed limit has been lowered to 25 mph in this area to ensure the safety of residents, motorists and workers.
