Irish Festival and St. Patrick ' s Day Parade
The spirit of Ireland was alive and well on March 14 as the community gathered at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center for the Irish Festival and St. Patrick ' s Day Parade. The event brought together community members of all ages for a day filled with culture, music and festivities.
Guests enjoyed traditional Irish music by Rory Makem and an energetic headlining performance by Howley that had the crowd on its feet. The highlight of the day was the vibrant parade featuring local community groups, including Renaissance Charter of Port St. Lucie, the Boys & Girls Club of St. Lucie County, Allapattah Spirit Squad, M & M Sweeties Baton Twirlers and members of City Council, all proudly showing their community spirit.
The festival and parade once again proved to be a cherished community tradition, bringing people together to celebrate culture, music and a little bit of luck of the Irish.
River Nights comes alive
The Port District came alive March 12 for a lively night under the stars featuring traditional Irish music by Rory Makem. Attendees also enjoyed food, drinks and a chance to connect with friends and neighbors in a relaxed, waterfront atmosphere.
Mark your calendars for the final River Nights of the season April 9, with a performance by Girlfriend Material. After that, the series will take a break and return Oct. 9.
