Attendees enjoy Citizen Police Academy
The Port St. Lucie Police concluded its most recent Citizens Police Academy on March 26.
Local community and business members participated in this event, designed to familiarize attendees with the inner workings of the police department and foster collaboration. Several participants were so inspired they now are seeking to volunteer with the police department.
2025 Awards Ceremony celebrates PSLPD officers and staff
Our fourth-quarter awards ceremony honored quarterly and year-end achievements, including awarding Senior Sgt. Erik Levasseur with the Purple Heart in recognition of his courageous actions and injuries sustained while confronting an active public threat on Dec. 1.
Senior Sgt. Levasseur is only the fourth recipient of this distinguished honor.
Bike Unit deployment across City
PSLPD has deployed bike patrol officers throughout the City’ s shopping centers and parking lots. These random deployments help build rapport with local businesses and community members.
