Public Works talks career opportunities with homeschool group
A group of students, ages 12 to 18, from a homeschool program visited City Hall to discuss career opportunities with Public Works. To assist with this, Public Works prepared a PowerPoint presentation that outlined the various services the department offers to the community, as well as the different career opportunities available within the department and the City. After the presentation, the students had the chance to meet more members of the Public Works team outside and watch a live equipment demonstration.
