Towards a Smart & Connected City: Port St. Lucie Mayor Martin and City team share lessons at the Smart City Expo USA
The City of Port St. Lucie aims to be a smart city and one of the most engaged in the nation. The City’ s efforts to improve the use of data to drive positive outcomes for residents has been recognized by Bloomberg Philanthropies What Works Cities as a Silver certified city and only the second city in Florida.
What Works Cities invited Mayor Shannon Martin to join a panel of other city leaders to discuss how Port St. Lucie is using data and artificial intelligence. Representatives from the City Manager’ s Office and Information Technology Department were able to receive invaluable information and ideas as the City prepares to introduce more advanced AI tools and other technology to improve services. www.
