2025 Hurricane Preparedness Expo
The Office of Emergency Management is excited to host the 19th annual Hurricane Preparedness Expo on Saturday, June 7 from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center, 9221 SE Event Center Place.
This free, family-friendly event connects residents with businesses and emergency providers who can help them prepare for extreme weather situations.
This year’ s Expo will feature informative presentations from meteorologists, emergency managers, City of Port St. Lucie staff and community organizations that can assist with hurricane preparations.
The Exhibitor’ s Hall will feature local government partners, businesses and vendors with expertise in a variety of different specialties related to storm readiness, such as storm shutters and impact windows, tree maintenance, water damage, roofing and gutters.
The Expo also will feature fun events for all ages, an interactive photo booth and a raffle for cool prizes that can help with storm prep. Attendees will receive a tote bag with hurricane preparedness information, while supplies last.
Love Your Block Neighborhood Day
The Office of Emergency Management engaged with residents and handed out preparedness guides and flood brochures at the Love Your Block Neighborhood Day on March 8 at Treasure Coast High School.
The Love Your Block program is a collaborative effort that brings together City leaders and residents to rejuvenate neighborhoods. This event allowed residents an opportunity to provide their input and ideas on neighborhood improvement projects.
The Love Your Block program works alongside local organizations, neighborhood groups and community members in Port St. Lucie to achieve its goals.
