Over the weekend , 18 potential recruits completed the final day of Fast Track to the Badge . They completed several steps , including the physical agility course , for their chance to be part of the Port St . Lucie Police Department-only academy class this May at Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex . Good luck to all who participated !

Two-year-old Xander and his father stopped to say hello to Officer Greene while walking through the Police Department parking lot . Officer Greene introduced Xander to the awesomeness of her Police Interceptor SUV and gave him some stickers and other swag for being such a cool kid !
