Love Your Block Mini-Grant cycle kicks off
The Love Your Block mini-grant cycle officially began Feb. 12, offering exciting opportunities for residents and community organizations to make a positive impact in the Whispering Pines neighborhood.
To help everyone better understand the minigrant process and application, the Love Your Block team hosted two informative sessions.
The first session was held in person at the Parks Edge Home Owners Association Club House, where residents and City department representatives, including the Police Department’ s crime prevention unit and Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful, came together to discuss the details of the mini-grant cycle.
Attendees received a PowerPoint presentation covering step-by-step instructions on the application process, eligibility requirements, important dates and scoring criteria. The event welcomed 20 participants, fostering valuable connections and community engagement.
The second session was conducted virtually. Residents can apply for Love Your Block Mini-Grants until March 31.
