Banners celebrate PSL as an All-America City
The City of Port St. Lucie is installing light pole street banners to proudly celebrate our 2025 All-America City Award, a recognition of our community’ s commitment to innovation, inclusivity and civic engagement.
The banners are mounted on light poles along Gatlin Boulevard, Walton Road and Airoso Boulevard.
They serve as a visible reminder of the hard work and collaboration that earned this honor, while fostering local pride and welcoming residents and visitors alike to share in this achievement.
By showcasing this milestone throughout our streets, we reinforce our identity as a vibrant, forward-thinking city dedicated to creating a better future for all.
Building on the City’ s communications strategy
The Communications Department recently partnered with the Office of Strategic Initiatives and Innovation to develop its strategic plan for the year ahead.
This collaborative effort focused on identifying new opportunities, refining how we measure success and reviewing what’ s working well and what can be improved. The process provided valuable insight into the department’ s role in connecting the City with residents and highlighted ways to enhance engagement moving forward.
Special thanks to the SII team for its leadership and guidance throughout this important initiative.
PSL’ s City Hall Field Trips spotlighted on WQCS radio
In January, WQCS 88.9 FM featured Port St. Lucie’ s new City Hall Field Trips program, which offers two half-day sessions this spring for local students to learn how city government works.
Engagement and Marketing Team Manager Melissa Yunas shared how these structured visits bring civics lessons to life, giving students a behind-the-scenes look at City services like public safety, parks and planning. This initiative helps foster civic engagement and understanding among our future leaders. www. CityofPSL. com / News
