Public Works
Public Works wishes everyone a Happy New Year!
Happy New Year from the Public Works Department, which oversees City resources that manage the planning, design, construction and maintenance of City infrastructure and various facilities. That includes roads and bridges, water quality and drainage, traffic operations, landscaping and emergency management.
Public Works looks forward to continuing to be stewards of our community and helping make the City of Port St. Lucie a great place to live.
Several of our Public Works staff will be at the upcoming Citizen Summit. We look forward to talking to residents, collecting feedback and answering questions at the Citizen Summit on Feb. 7 at the Community Center. We hope to see you there!
Public meeting being held for Bayshore Boulevard project
Join us Wednesday, Jan. 28 for a public meeting to discuss improvements for Bayshore Boulevard from Prima Vista Boulevard to Selvitz Road. This is the second public meeting being held for this project, offering residents an opportunity to review the four-lane typical section that includes bike lanes and sidewalks.
The meeting will be held at the Community Center, 2195 SW Airoso Blvd., from 5-7 p. m. The presentation will begin promptly at 5:30 p. m. followed by a question-and-answer session. Residents can also review boards for the project and ask questions directly to City staff and the project team.
The project will address multi-modal needs, support traffic capacity and safety. www. CityofPSL. com / PublicWorks
