Ambassadors of Swing present Christmas with Benny Goodman Hundreds of guests danced the night away in the Emerald Ballroom on Dec. 2, just in time for the holiday season, enjoying cocktails, concessions and hits from Benny Goodman.
Hot Weelz Car, Truck and Bike Show and Toy Drive
Close to 1,000 people came out Dec. 13 to check out some of the area’ s coolest cars, trucks and bikes at the annual car show. Vehicles were displayed outside the Event Center, with owners on hand to answer questions and discuss their masterpieces. The day culminated in an evening visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, and a toy drive benefiting St. Lucie Fire District’ s Christmas 4Kids organization.
A seasonal favorite, the Ambassadors perform three shows each year with locals and visitors enjoying the swing-style music and large dance floor. Led by Port St. Lucie resident Pat DiCesare, December ' s show featured holiday music, with future events including Dixieland Delight and Swing into Spring themes. We look forward to the Ambassadors’ shows in January and March!
Festival of Lights On Dec. 6, the MIDFLORIDA Event Center played host to the annual Festival of Lights event, featuring a free concert from FM Band Miami, a carnival with food trucks and fireworks! Thousands were in attendance to enjoy exhibits from various City departments, food and snacks, and much more. The band was a huge hit, dancing to finish out the party.
Candlelight Concert: Christmas Carols on Strings On Dec. 18 and Dec. 22, the ever-popular sellout Candlelight Concerts returned to Port St. Lucie, featuring a Holiday Spectacular with Christmas Carols on Strings.
The popular fan favorite returns this February with a new show,“ A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac,” as well as“ Coldplay vs. Imagine Dragons."
