Airydale Retreat is one of the many private glamping businesses that have opened . The site , located within 30 minutes of Raystown Lake and state forests , offers three tent glampsites erected on a wooden deck platform . Sites include beds with linens , towels , ice chest , tables and chairs , cooking pans and utensils for outdoor cooking , campfire rings and a picnic table . Restroom facilities include a compost toilet and outdoor showers . The sites have electric , are pet-friendly and non-smoking . The costs to rent these glampsites range from $ 109 to $ 159 a night .
Lake Raystown Resort is located in Huntingdon County next to Raystown Lake . In addition to the lake and activities such as boating , fishing and hiking , Wildriver Waterpark and Proud Mary Showboat are located nearby . The resort also has a lodge , cabins , cottages , villas and bungalows , and RV and tent sites for rent .
The yurts sleep four to six people with comfortable beds and climate controls . They offer a mini refrigerator , television , outdoor picnic table and a fire ring , and are located in semi-private spaces enclosed by trees . They require a minimum two-night stay during the weekend and five-night minimum during the week .
