SAMPLE
COMPANY
20 Sales Plan
20.1 Cold Calls
Mr. John Doe and employees will start operations by executing cold calls in order to offer their
services to households and business in Sample Town and Sample Town. By using this method,
the Company can go through a large pool of clients in a short time. However, this approach is not
personal and as such may not have a high conversion rate.
20.2 Door-to-door
Another method will consist of going door-to-door where Mr. John Doe will be able to
immediately talk to potential clients about expected outcomes and rates, and answer all
additional questions clients may have. A major drawback of this method is that it is time
consuming and the Company cannot visit many households and businesses in a short period of
time.
20.3 Contracts
The Company will search for companies that require computer repair services on a regular basis
and sign a contract with them. It is expected that these clients will benefit from lower rates and
have an incentive to outsource operations to the Company.
20.4 House Calls, Remote Service, and Repair in Store
The Company will have three distribution channels. Clients can bring their equipment to the
Company’s store, the Company’s Technicians can fix the problem remotely, or visit the client’s
premises. Visiting the client will be the most expensive option because the Company will incur
transportation costs. However, this approach provides the most personalized solution. Fixing the
problem remotely is an option for clients who do not live near Sample Town and require urgent
services. Clients can also bring their equipment to the Company’s premises as sometimes the
Computer Repair Technicians may not bring spare parts to onsite visits.
