Kelly, “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus, “Great Expectations” by Diggy Simmons, or “Roar” by Katy Perry. Ask the students to talk about dreams or goals for the future. Ask them what the difference is between a dream and a goal. Do they agree with the statement, “A goal is a dream with a deadline”? 2. Read aloud to the students “Everybody Has a Dream.” Do dreams always come easy? What barriers did the people in the story overcome to realize their dreams? What do we mean when we say, “You’ve got to have a dream?” If your students have already been through this discussion in the ProTeam course, you can simply refresh their thinking.
