Communication Style Inventory To help determine your communication style, 1) read each statement from Columns A and Column B and 2) from each row, put a check mark beside the statement that best describes you.                 COLUMN A You like to have a plan to have things settled and decided ahead of time. You try to make things come out the way “they ought to be.” You like to finish one project before starting another. You usually have your mind made up. You may decide things too quickly. COLUMN B You like to stay flexible and avoid fixed plans. You deal easily with unplanned and unexpected events. You like to start many projects, but may have trouble finishing them all. You are usually looking for new information. You may decide things too slowly. You want to be right. You don’t like to miss out on things. You live by standards that are not easily changed.
