Nelson Mandela transformed a nation and changed the world. His sound reverberated voices that shattered a nation and brought it to it's knees. Now today the modern day Mandela's echos the sound that speaks of freedom, heroism and reformation. Nelson's power suppressed by legalism came to the forefront for justice with diligence and persistence. The question is... how can one man make a difference to change the lives of many in a prehistoric world of supremacy? How can one man raise a standard to change a culture dying but alive within himself?
My response Nelson knew his foundation, his heritage of his ancestor’s valour during the wars of resistance. It shaped, prepared, equipped him as a reformer. His passion drove him to seek ways to overthrow a system put in place to annihilate his people. Like present day reformers Nelson dreamt continuously of making his own contribution to the freedom struggle of his people.
Nelson attended a primary school in Qunu where his teacher Miss Mdingane gave him the name Nelson, in accordance with the custom to give all school children “Christian” names. The symbolism of changing of names is to rid oneself of their past life. Masking characters to stage a new deposition. A total makeover adornment, decorating as masquerades their new echoes (duplicates) displaying the conformity of their idealism (behavior or thought based on a conception of things as they should be, or as one would wish them to be, with a tendency to be imaginary or visionary) erasing Realism {behavior or thought based on a conception of things as they are, regardless of how one wants them to be, with a tendency to be practical and pragmatic) one's true identity.
He completed his Junior Certificate at Clarkebury Boarding Institute and went on to Healdtown, a Wesleyan secondary school of some repute, where he matriculated. Nelson Mandela began his studies for a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University College of Fort Hare but did not complete the degree there as he was expelled for joining in a student protest. At the day of wrecking one true DNA will come to the forefront.
