My Telehaus Signed S & P Agreement with Cyberview to build two New Data Centres in Cyberjaya

Local data centre provider , MyTelehaus Data Centres Sdn Bhd signed the Sales & Purchase ( S & P ) Agreement with Cyberview Sdn Bhd ( Cyberview ), Cyberjaya ’ s tech hub developer to purchase a land plot in Cyberjaya measuring 1.72 acres with future expansion on another plot measuring 1.96 acres for the development of data centres .
MyTelehaus will design and build a hyper scale data centre up to 20MW with future expansion of another data centre with upgradeable and lower density requirements .
The construction of the data centres is set to begin in early 2021 .
Najib Ibrahim , Managing Director of Cyberview , said , “ We witnessed several announcements on new data centre constructions this year by both local and MNCs in Cyberjaya which is a result of the acceleration in digital transformation efforts . The new normal calls for companies to not only build and increase their capacities but explore innovative ways to capture new opportunities and value creation for their customers . We are glad that MyTelehaus is expanding further and benefitting from Cyberjaya ’ s attractive ecosystem and offerings .”

In realising its goals , Cyberview recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding ( MOU ) with the Malaysian Investment Development Authority ( MIDA ) to leverage each other ’ s capabilities and strength in capitalising domestic direct investment ( DDI ) and foreign direct investment ( FDI ) opportunities in Malaysia as their choice location for high and deep technology projects .
