BETTY SINYAN

Betty is a highly accomplished professional in educational settings, project management and administration.Betty worked as an educational consultant. This involved working in different primary schools across five London boroughs. The role involved working with class teachers in the key curriculum areas such as literacy, numeracy, science and information technology.To advise groups on developing a school vision, with clear aims, objectives and ethos. Planning for high quality learning through an effective curriculum, effective school leadership and governance arrangements, recruitment, induction and development of high quality staff, tracking student achievement to ensure good progress, building external partnerships that can enhance educational provision.Betty also project managed Trampoline’s back to work initiative managing a group of six staff. Duties involved with this role included community outreach programs to attract young unemployed men and women into work placement roles with the possibility of future paid employment. To first conduct telephone interviews of interested persons, send out information packs and assist the Managing Director in the final shortlist and selection. Applying for funding from organisations such as The Princes Trust, The National Lottery, etc were all part of this role.Betty obtained a Masters Degree in Employment studies and Human Resource Management from the London Metropolitan University in 2000.
