brahim has worked extensively in rural development programmes in The Gambia. He worked for Gambia Produce Marketing Board in the early 90’s as a liaison officer.In the Uk he has worked with various not for profit organisations in health related projects. He has travelled extensively in both Africa and Europe in a bid to increase health awareness especially in rural areas of the world.He founded FID in 2009 as a non profit organisation with the sole aim of helping in the fight against infectious diseases, alleviating poverty through health education and providing training to existing health professionals and volunteers inorder to facilitate their roles in the health field. He takes to heart key health issues and other health related issues facing his country.Ebrahim is fluent in both English and French and the two main local languages in The Gambia such as wollof and mandinka.
