Health/Alleviation of Poverty community health assistance and facilities to improve the health education and social economic background of extremely disadvantaged people living in rural areas.
FID is dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged families in remote communities in the Gambia, on starting with Mariama Kunda and surrounding villages. Living in Villages with poor transport facilities and inadequate forms of communication. People living in villages are seldom reached by humanitarian relief yet they are the ones that need it most.
The mission of FID is to bring relief to families in rural areas through better medical facilities by building well equipped hospital/clinics, providing training to health professionally so they could reach out to sick people unable to make the journey to the clinic. And also to alleviate poverty through health assistance and facilities.
