A phenomenal young achiever, Wadi Ben-Hirki is the founder of the Wadi Ben-Hirki Foundation which
fights for the rights of the female child, supports children back to school and Internally Displaced Persons
to mention but a few. She started the foundation at a young age of 17 and has devoted most of her life to
philanthropy and advocacy and is constantly changing the narratives. To celebrate her achievements, she
has been recognized by internationally recognized platforms and has won countless awards. Wadi is
definitely a Nigerian youth that has made the nation proud on national and international grounds and is
an icon to emulate because of her hard work and dedication.
Project 9ja had a nice time with Wadi as she shared with us some insights into her life, her journey with
