PRODUCTS Audio-Technica ATW-A410P UHF Powered Wideband Antenna Audio-Technica has launched the ATW-A410P UHF powered wideband antenna, a low-profile UHF (470-990 MHz) antenna that mounts to a wall or ceiling. The ATW-A410P features a four-position switchable amplifier (-10dB, 0dB, +6dB, +12dB) to compensate for cable loss, along with an LED indicator to display the current gain setting. To accommodate various installation environments, the antenna’s BNC cable can be configured to exit from the top, side, or rear of the antenna. It has a frequency range of 470 to 990 MHz and impedance of 50 ohms. For more information, contact Erikson Audio: 514-457-2555, FAX 514-457-0055, [email protected], www.eriksonaudio.com. Antelope Goliath HD | Gen 3 Audio Interface Antelope Audio has released the Goliath HD | Gen 3 audio interface, which features new AD/DA converters to achieve a 136dB dynamic range on its mastering-grade monitor outputs. It also comes as a set with a complementary Edge Duo microphone with switchable polar patterns and real-time mic modelling. The Goliath HD | Gen 3 works with any DAW, connecting to Mac and Windows computers with 192 kHz audio over Thunderbolt, USB 3.0, HDX, and MADI (to Dante Bridge). Its HDX Compensation Delay technology ensures that any analog or digital input entering Pro Tools arrives as a fully-sample-accurate signal source, while the company’s custom-created Thunderbolt driver delivers 64 channels of simultane- ous playback and recording at up to sub-millisecond latency. Additionally, a latency-free direct monitoring environment encompassing four independent internal mixers, each with 32 assignable inputs, is at hand. The interface’s digital and networking connectivity is established by industry-standard AES, MADI, ADAT, S/PDIF, Thunderbolt, USB, and HDX connections combining to total 346 digital I/O channels. Avante Imperio SUB210 Sub Bass Enclosure Avante Audio is now shipping the Imperio SUB210, a compact, dual-10-in. sub bass enclo- sure. It expands the existing Imperio “mini array” system, which offers a powerful, flexible, and scalable active audio system that is designed for installation in mid-size venues as well as for use by production companies working on one-off or touring events. The Imperio SUB210 has a sixth-order bandpass design and combines two 10-in. woofers, each with a 2.5-in. voice coil, into a compact enclosure. The sub has a plywood construction with a 1.2-mm steel protective grille and is fitted with two handles that wrap around from the top to the side, allowing for easier lifting, carrying, and rigging. With a power output of 700W RMS (1,400 W peak), the SUB210’s internal Class D amplifier allows for a maximum SPL of 124dB. The unit has a frequency response of 60-150 Hz and generates a rich and punchy output. It has been specifically designed to be used in conjunction with the Imperio array module.
