d&b audiotechnik A-Series Augmented
Array
d&b audiotechnik has introduced the A-Series augmented array. Combining
variable splay angles, two approaches to acoustic optimization, and advanced
waveguide design, the A-Series addresses applications where coverage flex-
ibility in both the horizontal and vertical dispersion is required.
The system comprises the AL60 and AL90 loudspeakers, with ALi60 and ALi90 offering cabinets designed specifically for permanent instal-
lation. Using the appropriate frame, up to four AL60/AL90 and ALi60/ALi90 loudspeakers can be flown either in vertical or horizontal arrays.
Variable splay angles between adjacent cabinets can be set in five-degree increments from -10Åã to +10Åã allowing for fine adjustments and
ensuring sound is directed where it is wanted. Midrange Directivity Control (MDC) ensures frequencies between 200 Hz and 2 kHz are evenly
distributed, regardless of the splay angle. With 60-degree horizontal dispersion and directivity control down to approximately 550 Hz, the
AL60/ALi60 can cover a distance of up to 30 m. The AL90/ALi90 – with its 90-degree horizontal pattern control down to 370 Hz – is sonically
and mechanically compatible, ensuring the same acoustic result is achieved consistently regardless of the configuration.

Danley Go2-6CX
Small-Format
Loudspeaker
Danley Sound Labs has introduced the
Go2-6CX small-format loudspeaker,
which uses a 6-in. co-axial driver with the
unit’s compact Baltic birch cabinet.
The Danley Go2-6CX is the second
member of the Go2 Series and bridges
the gap between the larger Go2-8CX and
the Danley Nano.
Despite its small size, the Go2-6CX is
capable of delivering 109dB continuous
and 115dB peak output with a phase
coherence and frequency response of 95
Hz to 23 kHz, +/- 6dB.
