Brock Adamson to Receive the Parnelli Audio Innovator Award
Canadian loudspeaker innovator Brock Adamson will receive the Parnelli Audio Innovator Award at the 18 th annual ceremony on Jan . 25 , 2019 . Adamson founded Ontario-based loudspeaker manufacturer Adamson Systems Engineering in 1983 .
“ Brock has been a major exporter of loudspeaker technology for 35 years ,” says Terry Lowe , Parnelli Awards executive producer . “ From Port Perry , Ontario , he ’ s kept his company on the leading edge of pro audio technology and market trends . The PLASA Show is returning to England ’ s London Olympia from Sept . 16-18 , 2018 . More than 200 entertainment technology brands will be exhibiting and , with last year ’ s show floor selling out , extra exhibit space has been made available .
There will also be more hands-on experiences than in previous years so visitors can sharpen their skills on the latest products . New features include a show floor seminar theatre that will serve as the centre for production specialists and riggers looking to elevate their knowledge .

Audio industry veteran Vaino Gennaro has launched North45 Distribution , a new company based in Peterborough , ON that is currently distributing Italian audio manufacturer Proel S . p . A ., along with subsidiary companies Axiom Pro Audio and DH Pro Stage Equipment . The North45 office will handle sales , engineering , order processing , after sales support , and service support for the American and Canadian markets .

Adamson to Host Country Festival for Charity
In partnership with KX96 New Country FM , Adamson Systems Engineering will be hosting the Winding Roads Country Festival on its property in Port Perry , ON on Sept . 22 , 2018 . The festival is a celebration of local culture , live music , and the people of Durham Region , with proceeds benefitting the Big Brothers & Big Sisters of North Durham . The show will be headlined by CCMA Award winner Madeline Merlo .
