As audio professionals, like everybody else,
are stuck at home self-isolating in order to
help slow the spread of COVID-19, a wide

• AV industry association AVIXA, producer
of the InfoComm trade shows, has
announced that through June 12, 2020,
its extensive online training will be open
to all AV professionals, regardless of
membership level. It has waived online
access fees and Elite seat limitations
through June 12. The move is designed
to provide the opportunity to learn new
topics, work toward CTS certification,
or earn CTS-RUs if already CTS certified,

• Recognizing that loss of work and social
isolation can have dire effects on mental
health, Behind the Scenes announced
an online behavioral health screening
program as part of its Mental Health and
Suicide Prevention Initiative. These free
screenings are completely anonymous,
private, easily accessible, and quick to
complete. Immediately following each
screening, the results, recommendations,
and key resources are given.
