… The National Association of Broadcasters has opened nominations for its 2020 Technology Awards, which are presented each year at the NAB Show. The awards highlight significant achievements in the field of broadcast technology. The awards include: Radio Engineering Achievement Award; Television Engineering Achievement Award; Technology Innovation Award; and Best Paper Award. The deadline for nominations is Jan. 13, 2020 and the 2020 NAB Show takes place from April 18-22. In the first stage of the agreement, members of each organization are now able to take advantage of the other’s training courses at discounted rates. The collaboration will also give certain SMPTE members privileged access to executive-level IABM Business Intelligence via an exclusive portal and webinars, and IABM members will be able to access SMPTE webcasts.
