LightFair 2020 Postponed Until Late
Summer/Early Fall
The 2020 edition of LightFair has been postponed due to concerns
related to the coronavirus pandemic. The annual event for the archi-
tectural and commercial lighting industry was set to run from May
3-7 in Las Vegas. Now, organizers say it will take place sometime in
the late summer or early fall, pending improved conditions. Specific
dates were not announced.
“There is no question that the safety and wellbeing of all Light-
Fair attendees come first,” said Dan Darby, show director, on March
13 th . “We have been carefully monitoring the official updates and
conferring with the leadership of IALD and IES, LightFair’s co-owners,
on the best course forward. At this time, postponing the show is our
most responsible action.”
Presuming it takes place, the 2020 trade show and conference
will feature exhibitors showcasing lighting innovations, hundreds of
hours of conference programming, plus an array of new attendee
experiences and opportunities. Organizers say the updated LightFair
dates will be announced as soon as possible.
