SKILLS AND HOBBIES
An aspiring Interior Designer currently studying Interior Architecture and Design at the
University of Portsmouth. I’ve always loved travelling the world, from this it has made me
appreciate the unique designs and experiences within different cultures. This passion has
and continues to inspire me to create my own spaces and atmospheres in the future. I
have experience in relevant computer programmes, artistry, and communication skills.

PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT
BTL Property, Interior Design Assistant – Interior Designer, 2018 – 2019: For my placement year I worked as the department
assistant from July 18 – January 19, my responsibilities included communicating on a daily basis with suppliers, organising the
sample library and keeping this up to date, taking meeting notes and sending to the clients, putting together sample boards and
presentations, sourcing, photoshop work and visuals, and assisting the interior designers in their day to day management of their
projects . In January I was promoted to a full-fledged Interior designer due to the head of departments departure, from which I
inherited her current projects and led the client meetings and the design intention.
Lloyds Pharmacy, Healthcare Assistant, 2014- 2018: I learnt so much within this position, such as customer service and
communication. This experience really helped boost my confidence throughout the years.
House and Garden Magazine, Intern, 2015: A week as an assistant to the head of the department on all days except one, which I
was an assistant set designer for a Christmas photoshoot, in Kensal Green, London.
CityFax, Junior Intern, 2014: One week in the design department. I completed tasks such as Organising the sample library, assisting
the designers on their day to day jobs, and helping send out orders and deliveries on time.
