Die Lieferfähigkeit steht auf dem Spiel The ability to supply is at stake
Nur Firmen, die bereits begonnen haben, sich
mit den technischen und organisatorischen
Herausforderungen, die mit dem Umsetzen der
EU-Fälschungsrichtlinie verbunden sind, ausein-
anderzusetzen, haben aus heutiger Sicht eine
Chance, zum Zeitpunkt des Inkrafttretens der
Delegierten Rechtsakte den Markt mit Ware zu
bedienen, die diesen Forderungen entspricht. As far as can be said today, only companies that
have already started to familiarise themselves
with the technical and organisational challenges
of implementing the EU‘s Falsified Medicines
Directive will have a chance of supplying the
market with compliant products by the effective
date of the Delegated Legal Acts.
Eigentlich müssten die Unternehmen bereits
heute mit den Vorbereitungen anfangen. Denn
sorgen.
As a matter of fact, companies would have to start
their preparatory processes today. Because there is
not only the tremendous and complex effort of
in-company implementation to consider, almost
all of a company‘s areas will be involved – starting
with rebuilding the production lines and going
on to validating the facilities, giving training to
the employees, modifying and expanding the IT
systems as necessary, and redesigning the folding
boxes. This situation is further aggravated by the
fact that almost none of these tasks can be accom-
plished without the help of external partners.
Printer, camera and packaging machine manufac-
turers as well as software solution providers and,
last but not least, the folding box makers come
into mind, which, when taken as a whole, are
already approaching their capacity limits today.
As the securPharm project moves on to normal
operation, all German companies have the chance,
at any time, to become part of the only European
system that works under everyday conditions
and that meets the requirements of the Falsified
Medicines Directive. It allows operators to gather
experiences and thus enables them in good time
to produce and supply the market with lawful
goods from 2017.
