CHANGES TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM
The Glass and Glazing Federation( GGF) has announced interim replacements. following recent departures from its parent company, the Helix Group. The changes are to ensure clients of the GGF’ s subsidiary companies can look forward to a smooth transition and continue to receive high levels of service.
The changes in personnel and roles are:
• Phil Pluck, GGF chief executive officer has now been appointed interim GGF Group chief executive officer.
• Brian Baker, former GGF chief executive officer has been appointed short term Interim chief executive officer of Helix Group.( This will probably be the case until early to mid-September.)
• Kevin Buckley has been appointed longer term Interim chief executive officer of Helix Group. This will be for approximately six months.
• Tony Morgan has been appointed interim finance director.
All the above senior managers bring decades of experience of running membership, commercial and not-for-profit organisations.
Phil Pluck, GGF Group chief executive officer commented:“ The GGF Group is an important part of the federation and the industry. I am therefore delighted that we now have a strong team in place to maintain the high levels of service our subsidiary companies provide and to build for the future.”
A whopping charity pot raised at Glazerite’ s annual tournament
Wellingborough Golf Couse played host yet again this year to the 12th Glazerite Trophy on 6th and 7th July. The PGA Trophy pro-am golf tournament has become a highlight in an increasingly busy glazing industry golf calendar, noted for the high quality of the golf played.
With temperatures reaching the high twenties over the event the 37 teams taking part did very well in the extreme heat.
The winning Team was formed by Dartford-based Leslie Easton and Annis Building
Contractors from Wellingborough who with professional Ben Hall, won the main Pro- Am event. Kyson Lloyd was the tournament winner, posting an eight-under-par score of 136 for the two rounds.

auction in the evening the whole event generated a staggering £ 4235 for Glazerites nominated charity Cancer Research UK.
