1 . Agree works required from the order and survey
2 . Complete Building Control Application , sign along with the homeowner
3 . Submit application ( a minimum of seven working days before intended start date on site ) at roof sign-off stage to SupaLite
4 . SupaLite will process your application with HBC – please be advised payment will be required prior to application submitted
5 . HBC will notify your local authority and issue instructions to make contact and visit for site inspection 6 . Complete the installation 7 . Local building control / HBC sign-off installation 8 . Certificate is supplied

The cost of the service is £ 375 + VAT , which includes a plan check , approval , and appointment of the local building inspector to carry out the site visits and certification .

Please note , if you intend to replace the window frames and not change the existing brickwork , openings or perimeter sizes , this can go through the same application at the same cost .
It is also important to note the above does not cover new build conservatories or retrospective approvals .
There are also options to include an opening into property for an additional fee .
Option 1 Additional work to remove separating elements between conservatory and dwelling house : £ 85 + VAT . This will require SAP calculations to be provided to the local inspector .
Option 2 Additional work to increase the width or height of the structural opening between the conservatory and house : £ 145 + VAT . This may require structural calculations to be provided to the local inspector .
