Profile 22’s Frontier composite doors:
the perfect composite doors for Optima
Profile 22’s Optima and Frontier
offer the perfect composite door
solution. Gerald Allen, Profile 22
Marketing Manager, said: “With
Frontier and Optima you get two
best in class products that deliver
a perfectly suited solution.”
The Frontier range of
composite doors was
launched last year. Manufac-
tured in the UK, the range
delivers everything you
would expect from a Profile
22 product, including a ten
year guarantee.
Available in 44mm and
48mm versions and suit-
able for standard or low
threshold projects, the solid
core timber door leaves are
available in 27 designs and
ten colours, each with a
matching outer frame.
The doors feature a
beautiful wood grain finish
that replicates timber and
gives a more realistic effect.
COOLSKIN heat reflective
technology minimises solar
absorption and superior
scratch and abrasion resist-
ance keeps doors in great
condition. Security is as-
sured with a dedicated keep
and Yale lock options too.
Frontier doors are avail-
able in three variations so
there’s an option to suit
every set up. The leaf only
option provides solid timber
core leaves for fabricators to
manufacture into door sets.
The pre-prepped option
sees doors prepped to a
fabricator’s specification
with door furniture available
via fellow Epwin company
Safeware. For fabricators
looking to reduce the num-
ber of suppliers they work
with, glazing options can
also be supplied and fitted.
All-in-all, Frontier doors
offer the perfect com-
plement to Optima, the
window system designed
for the 21st century and
beyond. So if you want to
deliver a perfectly finished
project, look no further than
Optima and Frontier from
Profile 22.

Trojan helps installers
put an end to pitting
hardware callbacks
Ask many installers
about the biggest frus-
trations in their business
and the answer you’ll get
back is about callbacks to
replace pitted or failing
hardware. But talk to any
installer who uses Trojan’s
Stainless-Steel hardware
and they’ll tell you that
callbacks are a thing of the
past.
Zinc or aluminium-based
plated or painted products
will corrode sooner or later
as a result of salt or acid
erosion attack especially if
the surface coating is dam-
aged. It’s a problem that
has big cost implications
for installers, not to men-
tion reputational issues.
Every callback takes time
away from new installations
that generate revenue for a
business. Plus, if hardware
starts to fail, it doesn’t mat-
ter how happy a customer
was when the installation
was first completed or how
well the complaint about
the failure is handled, the
customer’s opinion of the
installer is likely to be neg-
atively affected.
Trojan’s market leading
25-year surface finish guar-
antee protects installers
against both these issues.
So, if you would like to
protect your business’s
bottom line and preserve
your well-earned reputa-
tion, Trojan’s Stainless-Steel
range has the answer.
