JUNE 2019 | 13 News Read online at www.proinstaller.co.uk WHY COMPROMISE? GREAT PRODUCTS, GREAT SERVICE Established in 2003, while the early noughties were not-so-nice for many businesses across all sectors, this year Thermal Trade Frames – also known as ECO-Thermal Design – celebrates its sweet 16th. Treating themselves to a brand new Schuco AF310 and elumatec saw may not be on the top of every teenager’s birthday wish-list but it was the gift of choice for MD Paul Hardcastle, not just for the ‘shop floor’ to improve aluminium product efficient and precision, but also to the Thermal Trade Frame customers, which have been – always will be – right at the core of everything the company does… “We’ve experienced the good times and we’ve experienced the bad times, and we know that our customers have been through the same,” begins Paul Hardcastle, Managing Director of the Barns- ley-based manufacturer. “That’s why we never lose sight of how customers should be treated, and it is why we never supply products which are anything other than of the highest technical standards, manufactured exactly how they should be.” These products are vast and varied with the company manu- facturing both PVCu, aluminium and composite doors, windows and conservatories; across brands such as Kömmerling, Residence, PremiLine, Solidor, Spitfire, and of course Schucho, to name a few; but the common denominator of zero compromise on quality and service unifies each and every unit that leaves the Wilthorpe Road factory. Paul explains: “We have care- fully selected window and door products from only industry-lead- ing suppliers, ensuring the highest quality at all times But, having the perfect product is just one piece of the puzzle, and really the key thing for us is to supply a technically outstanding product backed up by an equally outstand- ing service. “We also know that in a com- petitive market place, speed is of the essence for installers, which is why we offer a five-day turna- round on white and unglazed frames, and a ten-day turnaround on glazed and coloured frames; which means fitters can offer their customers a seven or fourteen-day order-to-installation time frame, in turn.” To further demonstrate its commitment to the customer, this year Thermal Trade Windows has invested £50,000 in new Schuco and elumatec machinery to meet the growing demand of alumini- um products. The Schuco AF 310 and elumatec saw will streamline the manufacturing process of aluminium doors and windows, again allowing their own custom- ers to maintain an edge on the competition when it comes to lead times. And, with a delivery range of “anywhere that we can get to in two hours”, the cli- ent-base that can benefit from the Thermal Trade Windows promise of ‘Great Products, Great Service’ is far-reaching. The recent decision for Paul and the team to ramp up alu- minium production is not the first time they’ve reacted to an industry issue in such a timely manner, however, as Thermal Trade Frames was one of the first door and window companies that supported Kömmerling’s greenline ‘lead-free policy’ in PVCu extru- sion several years ago. A willingness to adapt and overcome, being proactive as well as reactive, as well as be able to provide consistently high stand- ards of quality and service is no mean feat in an industry that has had its ups-and-downs over the years, and more recently suffered political uncertainty that has still yet-to-be resolved. However, it is the steadfastness of Paul and his team, and a commitment to its own vision and values that have allowed Thermal Trade Frames to stand the test of time, with a fu- ture outlook that is bright for both the core team and its customers. “We never cut corners and we don’t compromise on the quality of the products we use, or the way we manufacture. That is one thing that will never change no matter what. Everybody at Ther- mal Trade Frames understands this, from the team taking the orders to our delivery drivers. Our team of 25 staff has close on 150 years of direct window and door industry experience; and each one of them is as committed to the success of the business and its customers as we, the directors – Kelvin Greaves, Patrick Tighe and myself – are.” If you are looking for a new supplier of trade windows and doors, Paul invites you to see how Thermal Trade Windows compares with your current supplier by visiting www.thermaltradeframes. co.uk, emailing paul@ thermaltradeframes.co.uk, or telephoning 01226 294555.
