Quickslide scores with football links at home and away
Yorkshire-based window and door fabricator and VS specialist Quickslide Windows has strengthened and renewed its links with football through the sponsorship of no less than three football clubs, all of which are at quite distinct levels of the game.
With Quickslide located in Brighouse the firm has renewed the links with its nearest top-level club Huddersfield Town which plays in the English Premier league, also agreeing sponsorship for Evo-Stik Northern Premier League team Brighouse Town. Extending Quickslide’ s support for The Beautiful Game still further to the Midland League, Uttoxeter Town is being supported by the window and door maker on behalf of a friend of the company.
The partnership with Huddersfield Town, also known as The Terriers, extends over several years and to the days when the Premiership was just a dream for the West Yorkshire based team.
Quickslide is the ground and shirt sponsor for Brighouse Town, which plays just two miles from Quickslide’ s manufacturing centre and headquarters, with many of the company’ s employees and local customers being players and fans. A two year deal will also see the Quickslide brand festoon the first team shirts of Uttoxeter Town, an arrangement that came about through friends of Adrian, who believes that mutual inspiration and learning will come from the relationships with the lower league clubs.

JCB in pole position for European Grand Prix support
JCB is in pole position to play a vital role supporting Williams Martini Racing, as the team tours the top European Formula One circuits.
A convoy of JCB machinery has left Staffordshire on a 9,000-mile summer road trip to help the JCB-sponsored team in the build-up to race days and, this weekend, it sets up camp at the historic Monaco Grand Prix.
Four JCB machines have key parts to play in ensuring the team is ready to race at every European circuit this summer. The JCB Teletruk telescopic forklift will offload race components, including the vital engine elements and garage kit before each race, as well as aid with the post-race pack up.
In addition, a S1930E scissor lift will help with the safe construction of a spectacular three-story‘ motorhome’- made up of nine 20-foot containers- that is the drivers’, engineers’ and support staff base at the European circuits. The scissor lift will offer a secure platform for teams to work at height during construction and throughout the duration of the event.
