With multiple UPVC window and door systems available in the market, Glazpart( the leading glazing component manufacturer) has had to think strategically when it comes to designing, manufacturing and supplying trickle vents and glazing accessories for use across multiple window and door systems.

In 2025, Glazpart launched two new products- the MSBP( Multi-System Bridge Packer) and the Modular Vent – both designed specifically for fabricators manufacturing UPVC windows and doors.

Designed to fully integrate with Glazpart’ s range of flat packers, the MSBP also has the same functional benefits as Glazpart’ s current range of bridge packers.

The MSBP

The MSBP’ s flexibility is perfect for application in multiple window and door systems including:

Standard bridge packers are a key design accessory in UPVC systems and provide a flat surface for the use of setting flat packers whilst ensuring the water escape and ventilation routes around the insulated glazed units are maintained. The MSBP’ s key features include:

• an easy clip mechanism to secure into position and remain fixed without the need for silicone

• assurance that any water ingress into the glazing channel will run below the MSBP and out via the window and door drainage system and stops water / moisture build up and freezing in the winter

The Modular Vent

In January 2025, Glazpart added the Modular Vent to its trickle vent range. Developed for UPVC vertical sliders, the Modular Vent is fully compliant with regulations( LABC certified), has high performance and is available in a wide range of colours and finishes- ideal for the heritage sector.

The product is specifically designed for“ Through Profile” UPVC applications using a 19mm routed slot. All ventilators are“ Clip” fixed with the advantage of rapid fitting to profiles. Each Modular Vent has 2000 EQA and has the unique advantage of being able to assemble the ventilation EQA required by clipping the modules together before fitting to the windows.

highest performing trickle vent for watertightness at 1000 Pa and with a Spring Clip fitting( no screws) it also saves time when installing.

The huge choice of colours and decorative finishes makes Glazpart’ s trickle vents perfect for fenestration in heritage buildings. For over ten years, Glazpart has consistently invested in state of-the-art machinery and tooling to produce a vast spectrum of colours and finishes for its trickle vents. To match the woodgrains in heritage windows and doors, many fabricators and installers use Glazpart’ s Premium Finish ranges.
