OFFSITE INTEREST
A one-day conference, Ex-
plore Offsite Infrastructure, at the
NEC in Birmingham has been de-
clared a huge success. It created a
platform to network with industry
experts and discussed the latest
offsite construction solutions that
will help deliver the requirements
of the infrastructure sector.
Among the highlight pres-
entations were ‘Crossrail Custom
House Station’ presented by Laing
O’ Rourke and ‘Highway England’s
development of an Offsite Manu-
facturing Capability.’
Phil Wilbraham, Expansion Pro-
gramme Director, Heathrow Airport,
presented a case study on ‘Heath-
row Airport’s £16bn Expansion
Plans’. This sparked a great amount
of interest which, was shown by
vast interaction in the Q&A session
held after his presentation.

have stepped up to fulfil

months’ topping all previ-
ous records.
A huge part of the com-
pany’s success in 2017 is
also owed to the growth
of its loyal network of
retailers, with five new or
refurbished showrooms
added to the network this
year and a sixth on the way
in early 2018. The team at
Conservatory Outlet have
also found time to launch
two new products to add
to the company’s extensive
portfolio; the Extreme 3
Security Locking System
and the Envisage Flush
Casement Window, both
of which have contributed
significantly to sales during
2017.
The team’s charity efforts
can be commended too this
year, with employees from
across the business working
together to get creative with
a comedy Charity Calendar
in aid of Cancer Research
UK, as well as a Macmillan
Coffee Morning, charity
boxing matches and Save
the Children’s Christmas
Jumper Day.

years, moves into the newly
created position of Business
Development Director.
Simon will become re-
sponsible for leading the

as the overall day-to-day
running of the business.
In his new role as Busi-
ness Development Director,
Peter will be responsible
for th e development of

Far East. He will also be

well as existing and new
customers to develop new
business opportunities and
partnerships.
