KÖMMERLING’ S KÖMAPAN GIVES NEW LIFE TO ADVENTURE CENTRE CLUB HOUSE
Kömmerling customer Ayain Ltd recently completed an impressive club house upgrade for Avalanche Adventure with the premium cladding solution, KömaPan. All under the watchful eye of Kömmerling MD, Robert Thiroff.
Avalanche Adventure in Leicestershire is home to a wide range of adrenaline fuelled activities and prides itself in offering unforgettable experiences, but its tired timber-clad club house no longer reflected the dynamic nature of the business.
Robert Thiroff talks about his experience on site:“ I was genuinely thrilled to be invited along to this installation to see first-hand how easy Köma- Pan is to install, and I wasn’ t disappointed.
“ Avalanche Adventure needed to upgrade their club house but wanted to future proof the installation with cladding that required minimal ongoing maintenance. Köma- Pan is the perfect solution because it gave the club house a super-premium finish and has a life expectancy of over 30 years.”
The flexibility of the Köma- Pan cladding system ensured minimal disruption during installation. For example, on the front of the building, the old cladding was removed and replaced with KömaPan with a breather membrane, while on the sides of the club house KömaPan was installed on top of the existing cladding. Expansion joints were integrated into the top and bottom of the cladding and clad with a laminated finishing trim. The entire project was completed in Mountain Oak for a natural look.
Robert continues:“ It was such a great experience and privilege to witness this installation – it’ s a brilliant product and so easy to install I can’ t recommend it
highly enough. My huge thanks go out to Ayain Ltd and Ian, Adeel and Mark who allowed me to work with them on this project.”
