GLASSTEC WARMS UP FOR 25TH EDITION
There will be many new highlights to see and an anniversary
to celebrate when autumn 2018 sees the doors of Düsseldorf’s
trade fair open once again for the glasstec trade fair.
From 23-26 October,
2018, glasstec will celebrate
its 25th edition. The exhi-
bition has not lost any of
its function and fascination
over the years. The more
complex the products, sys-
tems and processes became
for the individual trades, the
more important was direct
dialogue among all players
in the industry – be it manu-
facturers, dealers, architects
or skilled craftsmen.
As of now companies in
the fields of machine manu-
facturing, industry and skilled
crafts can register for glasstec
2018 – the international trade
fair for glass production, pro-
cessing and products.
The trade fair registered
more than 1,230 exhibitors
from over 50 countries in
2016. It covers the entire
value chain for glass with
an unrivalled cross-section
of top-notch companies.
Thanks to the high inter-
national exhibitors’ attend-
ance glasstec also attracts a
high-calibre audience. At the
last glasstec in 2016, 71% of
the over 40,000 trade visi-
tors came from abroad.
Exhibitors can register for
glasstec at www.glasstec.
de/1330 and the companies
that already participated in
2016 can fall back on pre-
filled, read-and-write forms.
Stand space allocation is
scheduled to start on 1 De-
cember 2017.
In addition to the exhibi-
tors’ wide and varied ranges
covering the areas of glass
production, manufacturing
technology, glass finishing
and processing as well as
numerous glass products
and applications, glasstec
has a unique and extensive
programme of supporting
events in store.
For many years the high-
light has been the special
show ‘glass technology live’.
Now under the guidance of
Prof. Ulrich Knaack (Techni-
cal University of Darmstadt)
forward-looking exhibits
from glass technology,
production and applica-
tions will be presented. The
special show will be com-
plemented by the glasstec
conference.
