can be incorporated in an IGU which uses 4mm glass for the outer and inner panes.
The narrow slats of the SL16 have another major benefit for installers involved in windows and doors which need to achieve enhanced security requirements. This is because the system makes Venetian integral blinds a reality for Approved Document Q compliant windows and doors featuring a 28mm IGU, which need to include a 6.4mm laminated outer pane.
Another important dimension to the SL16 is that it will soon also be available with the ScreenLine ® brushless motorised control. Known as the SL16MB, this development greatly expands the scope for motorised integral blinds to be used in many more windows and doors, particularly where the project involves fitting into existing frames.

Fresh ideas to inspire homeowners
The SV + is a more recently developed integral blind than the SL16, and it continues to grow in popularity. It is a variation of Morley Glass’ s biggest selling system, the cordless magnetic slider-controlled SV, but with the difference of being symmetrical in appearance. Visitors to the Morley Glass stand will be able to see why this visual characteristic gives the ever-popular SV System a different look to suit specific homeowner tastes.
Both the SV and SV + systems are also now available with a device which combines the magnetic slider with a wand to ensure the blind can be operated with ease at arm’ s length. Available to see on the stand, the SV / SV + wand control adds convenience in windows which are higher up than usual, such as above a kitchen sink or in a high gable end, as well as making control much more accessible for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility.
In addition, visitors to the Morley Glass stand will be able to explore two further additional recent innovations. The pleated blackout integral blind system for flat glass rooflights gives installers an opportunity to integrate a shading and privacy solution into new rooflights, and it is compatible with all leading rooflight systems.
The Uni-Switch ® switchable smart glass system completes the portfolio of Morley Glass systems at the FIT Show. This system wowed installers when it debuted at the 2023 FIT Show and the Morley Glass team believes it has excellent untapped potential for installers in

high-end properties. It provides instant privacy using electricity thanks to a thin film applied to the laminated glass which changes from its opaque state when the power is off, to transparent when the electricity supply is switched on.
Quality that sets the industry standard
One of the most important things that FIT Show visitors will be able to take away from their visit to the Morley Glass stand is the quality that the Uni-Blinds ®

and Uni-Switch ® brands represent. The systems on show reflect the quality of every product manufactured by Morley Glass, with every integral blind unit featuring low-e or enhanced solar control glass, purpose-designed warm edge spacer bars and, of course, ScreenLine ® blind systems.
