UNLOCK THE SALES POTENTIAL OF PREMIUM INTEGRAL BLINDS WITH MORLEY GLASS

Premium integral blinds manufacturer Morley Glass returns to the FIT Show with a collection of worldclass shading and privacy systems designed to perfectly suit today’ s style-conscious homeowners.
The company, which is the UK’ s largest manufacturer of bespoke ScreenLine ® integral blinds, will be showcasing the best of its contemporary Uni- Blinds ® systems at the show, along with its Uni-Switch ® switchable smart glass, on its eye-catchingly designed stand located at J40.
The key themes for Morley Glass this year will undoubtedly be style and quality, with an inspirational range of products it believes will encourage installers to recommend integral blinds more routinely with confidence to homeowners.
Unrivalled styling options
The Morley Glass stand has been designed to show exactly why its choice of integral blind control systems, coupled with its range of contemporary, neutral colours, many of which are exclusively available in the UK from Morley Glass, offer huge appeal to end-users.
For Venetian Uni-Blinds ® these exclusive colours include Black( B160), one of the defining colours of home décor so far in the 2020s. This challenges the convention
that the go-to colours for integral blinds amongst homeowners should be white, silver or anthracite, with black bringing a whole new dimension to the look of integral blinds in both contemporary and traditional properties.
Another Uni-Blinds ® integral blind system with contemporary styling to feature at the FIT Show will be the exclusive pleated blackout. Like the Venetian options, this integral blind is available in a variety of neutral colours including lighter tones such as Alabaster, Dove and Grey Sheen, giving the pleated blackout widespread appeal for those seeking to block out external light as and when they choose.
Visitors to the Morley Glass stand will be able to see why the quality of the pleated blackout’ s design achieves excellent light-blocking performance. The integral blind is designed to reduce the potential for light‘ bleed’ along the cords and around the edges. This, combined with a high quality fabric manufactured to prevent light transmission, makes it a particularly popular choice for children’ s bedrooms and cinema rooms.
The range of colours now available for all types of Uni-Blinds ® integral blinds means installers can provide a shading and privacy solution as part of the windows and doors package that integrates well with many different homeowner tastes. But it is not only an on-trend colour palette that makes Uni-Blinds ® a powerful proposition to homeowners – a number of innovative designs and control systems extend their versatility and appeal too.
Product innovations aplenty
Amongst the Morley Glass product innovations on display at the FIT Show will be the slimline Venetian integral blind system, known as the SL16, the SV + sliding Venetian system, plus the exclusive new ScreenLine ® Wave integral blind.
ScreenLine ® Wave is a brand new type of integral blind developed by Pellini S. p. A. which features an ultra-thin polyester film created in a horizontal wave pattern, rather than fabric used in pleated integral blinds. This motorised integral blind offers an alternative approach to shading and privacy, providing excellent
solar control and thermal performance, and a blackout blind version is also available.
Whilst the SL16 and SV + may not be new product launches, both are important in the here and now because they increase the scope for using integral blinds in more types of windows and doors. This is due to the fact that they overcome two of the most common barriers to use.
The appeal of the SL16, which has actually been available for several years, is growing due to the fact that it can be used widely when retrofitting into existing frames – and is now exclusively available in several new colours which will be revealed at the FIT Show.
Additional benefits of the SL16
The narrower Venetian blind slats of SL16 mean it can be used in 24mm IGUs, rather than the 28mm minimum thickness of other types of integral blinds. The slats are just 10mm deep, rather than 12mm used in most other Venetian integral blinds, meaning that the SL16
