FUTURE DIRECTIONS

2021 22

For 2021-2022 , School of Business will focus on initiatives in pursuant to SDG4 , Target 4.7 , which states that “ By 2030 , ensure that all learners acquire knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development , including , among others , through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles , human rights , gender equality , promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence , global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture ’ s contribution to sustainable development .”
The School of Business will establish strategic priorities that builds upon our achievements and alignment to the PRME initiatives , under three key themes which set out a number of facilitative actions .
Education .
> Curriculum development and enhancement towards integration of Sustainability and the SDGs
> Building professionalism and capability among academics to promote eff ective teaching and learning pedagogy in integration of Sustainability and the SDGs
> Creating case studies on teaching and learning initiatives integrating Sustainability and the SDGs
Research .
> Exploring and identifying thematic ideas for collaborative research relating to Sustainability and the SDGs
> Supporting early and mid career scholars through research development workshops
> Engaging with PRME Working Groups for the collective development of papers and publication
Engagement .
> Connecting people and groups , in particular students to the PRME Global Students ( PGS ) network
> Building meaningful partnerships with industry stakeholders to create societal impact within the School of Business and the community
> Collaborating with members of PRME Chapter ASEAN + to further align the regional activities with the PRME global agenda and the School ’ s mission and vision
